• Duration: Full day (approximately 6 hours)

• Start and End Point: Grootkloof parking area
• Group size: Minimum of 4 participants, maximum of 12 participants

• Fitness level: Moderate hiking fitness level required

• Age restriction: 12 years and over
• Weight restriction: No more than 120 kg
• Abseil equipment: Supplied
• Experience: None required
• Wetsuits: Clients may bring their own wetsuits (recommended during colder months)

Adventure Itinerary

 

The adventure commences with an invigorating 4 km hike through the foothills of the Magaliesburg Mountains. Once you reach the top of the gorge, you will begin your descent into the kloof.

 

 

Navigate through a wonderland of crystal-clear pools, cascading waterfalls, and awe-inspiring rock formations, encountering a series of abseils and water jumps. Along the way, take moments to appreciate the tranquility of a Magaliesberg kloof. As you emerge from the gorge, you will feel a sense of accomplishment and exhilaration.
